Alternate Dev Tool to C++ for Xtuple Apps
Hello All,
It is a very long time after which I am posting on this forum.
Just today I ran into a product which is Open Source and sold commercially (just like XTuple apps). It is tightly bound to QT and give an alternate language to develop applications.
The product is KBasic.
I have yet to evaluate it extensively. But currently I am not that free. But some day I will do surely it!
If anyone of you feel interested please check out the following:

Hope this helps.

Pretty interesting...I admit that it sparked my curiosity. Hopefully they'll get a bit more critical mass. Seems like the type of product that might be here today --- gone tomorrow.

BTW...this isn't Open Source. They don't provide the source to the product. They provide the binary object free for download, trial version for Windows/Mac, full version for Linux.
Looks like similar goals to the gambas project.

Here are the links to source code.
