Project Cost Reports
I would like to print a report that captures all costs associated with the Project field. Where is this available? I am able to assign a Project ID at the PO line item level but I see no way to report on it. Is there a reason why there is no option to designate a Project ID at the Miscellaneous Voucher or Miscellaneous Check level? Any suggestions on how to designate at those levels? Thanks!
There is a Project Activity Report. From top level menus: CRM->Reports->Order Activity by Project. You can certainly customize this report to add more information. I know others have.
PostBooks has the ability to track documents such as Sales Orders, Work Orders and Purchase Orders. To get to true Project Accounting, you would need the Project Accounting add-on, which does provide more capabilities along the lines you suggest.
Thanks wtonra! That should have been easy for me to find, not sure how I overlooked the report. Still in the demo phase. I do appreciate your advice and will explore the Project Accounting add-on.
