Localization
What is Localization?
This page is a starting point for users and groups who want to collaborate on localizing xTuple ERP.
The process of localization may begin in the Translation Portal, where user-interface translation is accomplished. However, comprehensive localization involves more than that. To fully localize a software product, custom report definitions need to be created, locale-specific documentation must be written, and much more.
Localizers are encouraged to use these project pages as a means to coordinate their localization efforts. If you write in your native language, we ask that you please include English-language summary information to your sections so people in other localization projects can learn from your experience.
If you don't see a project for your country listed below, let us know and we'll add it!
Dear Sir,
As I am living in Libya, an Arabic country, and the demand in Arabic world is increasing. I couldn't see an Arabic project (linked to any Arabic country in the Arabic world or just Arabic Project). I am urging for creation such project and I am willing to participate in it, even if my participation won't be very much. I can try to find others who can participate in such project.
Thank you for your attention and hearing from you

Hello malghwell,
We are excited to hear that you are interested in starting up an Arabic project. Please read http://www.xtuple.org/StartingNewTranslation to find out how to get started with the Phrase Book for Arabic. You'll also need to download the initial phrase book file, which you can get here: http://www.xtuple.org/sites/default/files/xTuple.base_.zip
Once you've read the document and put together the Phrase Book you can submit it back to us and we'll open the language project for collaborative editing.
Thank you for your interest!
