Need an intermediate stage called In-Transit to consolidate the PO line items from different PO before receipt.

Dear Folks,

 

How do i acheive the below scenario in XTuple.

 

Our clients business goes like this. After issuing multiple Purchase Order, they will consolidate randomly consolidate PO line items into one batch and set the status to In-Transit with scheduled arrival date at warehouse. And the the warehouse will receive that batch of goods. 

 

Basically they need an intermediate stage called In-Transit to consolidate the PO line items from different PO. 

 

Does Xtuple support this or if we need to customize in such way what is the procedure.
