Web Integration

This section contains documentation for various web-based interfaces for interacting with the xTuple ERP database. Our approach is to create web interfaces where it makes the most sense--we are not replacing the GUI client with a web-based interface, but rather to expose specific functionality to the web, where it would be useful to have additional inputs from customers, partners, etc.

We have implemented the first of these Web Portal tools, our CRM Support module, as part of the xTuple.org support site. And we've also rolled out an Ubercart-based online store called the xChange, as well as a front end for distributing sales leads to our partner network (sorry, gotta join to see that one!) We will continue to develop web-based functionality that integrates with the back-end xTuple database, and we will document those efforts here, in this section.
