Navigating Norfolk

We've got lots of people coming to Norfolk in the next few weeks for our upcoming Intro and Power User training classes.  Visiting a new city can present some challenges.  Before I make travel arrangements, I always review my options with a local, so I know I'm making the best choices.  Below please find my recommendations.

Neither snow nor rain nor... Well, maybe snow

The unofficial motto for the United States Postal Service is a tribute to dedication, but may be less appropriate for professions like yours and mine.  As you may have heard, we postponed the Power User class that was scheduled earlier this month due to the blizzard that dropped over two feet of snow near our headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia. Read more »

Power users, power tax credits!

Tax credits for attending xTuple training?  It happens. Several customers have mentioned that they have received either a tax credit or a partial refund from their state for continuing education, and xTuple ERP Training classes may qualify. (For more information, please check with your local tax advisor.)

Who moved my Customer Information Workbench???

I'm a daily user of the Sales and CRM features of xTuple ERP. My favorite screen was the Customer Information Workbench; it was my launch pad.  From that screen, I performed a multitude of tasks and could easily jump to many other screens.  I commented to John Rogelstad (our Director of Product Development) that if there was a Characteristics tab on the Customer Information Workbench, I would rarely have to go to the Customer Master screen. Read more »
